Maternity Care

Pregnancy Care

Every pregnancy deserves thoughtful attention and compassionate care. Regular antenatal visits help monitor the health of the mother and developing baby throughout pregnancy.

Pregnancy care includes routine check-ups, monitoring blood pressure and weight, recommended scans and tests, nutritional guidance, and advice about preparing for delivery.

Our goal is to provide clear guidance, answer your questions, and support you through each stage of your pregnancy.

Specialised Monitoring

High-Risk Pregnancy Care

Some pregnancies require closer monitoring because of existing health conditions, pregnancy-related complications, or factors that may affect the health of the mother or baby. Timely assessment and individualised medical care can help identify concerns and guide appropriate management.

High-risk pregnancy care may involve more frequent antenatal appointments, additional scans or laboratory tests, blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring, and coordination with relevant specialists when needed.

Existing Health Conditions Additional care for conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders, or other relevant medical issues.
Pregnancy Complications Monitoring when concerns arise, such as pre-eclampsia, placental problems, or concerns about the baby's growth.
Closer Monitoring Follow-up visits, recommended investigations, and assessment based on the individual pregnancy's needs.
Birth Planning Guidance about delivery options, warning signs, and the care plan recommended by the treating clinician.
When to seek urgent medical care: Vaginal bleeding, severe abdominal pain, severe headache, vision changes, difficulty breathing, or reduced fetal movement later in pregnancy require prompt medical assessment.
